Finding Friends - Search for friends in several different ways and add them to your Friends list.
Old Friends - Invite friends using their email addresses. You can even pull email addresses from your online email accounts. Search for friends by name and email address too. I didn't see any way to search by school or workplace though but you can find by using combination of plcace and status.
New Friends - Find friends with similar interests by joining Gangs or searching members by interest. You can also search by gender, age, location and state or else by using browse button.
Connect to Friends - Once you find someone you want to be one of your friend you just click on the "add as friend" button on their profile page.
Groups - Groups are called Gangs and you can join in a Gang that is of interest to you. Gangs are broken into categories. You can Create Gang if you want to. You will then be the Owner of your Gang. People who join an Gang are known as it's residents. Residents can post messages, forum posts and comments on the Gang page.
Chat room - You can chat with your Best friends by using chat column on your page..
Subscriptions - Your Friends and Gangs will be listed on your profile page. It's not the same as a subscription but it's the closest Bharatstudent comes.
Friends Lists - Add all your friends to your Friends list. Then you can keep up with what they're doing on their profile page all the time.
Comments On Gangs And Profiles - Comments can be left on the profile page, photo album and journal. People can leave comments on your profile page in the section called Comment. Graphics can be added to comment entries.
Statistics - See how many people visit your site and more.
"Who I am to you" - Your Friends can add comments telling how they know you and what their relationship is to you.
